Cheyenne MacMasters was born in the West and studied photography at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Her photographic passion is capturing orbs, which seem to be fascinated by moments of enthusiasm and intensity of performances during live band concerts. One wonders who is inspiring whom? Is it at times a spiritual duet between orb and musician? Or is the orb simply a very interested member of the audience?

As fellow orb photographers learn, the orbs are revealed when using flash. Therefore, Cheyenne limits her flash photos to once per song during band performances in order not to overly distract the performers or the audience. Non-flash photos reveal the light designs of theatrical events, but do not illuminate orbs.
